When is a PWM controller the right choice?
For small 12V systems where the solar panel voltage sits close to the battery voltage, a PWM controller is a reliable and very cost-effective choice. Systellar’s PWM range uses microprocessor-controlled 3-stage charging (Boost, Absorption, Trickle) and supports lead-acid, Li-ion and LiFePO4 batteries. The high-voltage CC-PWM-HV series even powers existing 72V–240V inverter banks directly from solar.
